Hi, my name is Andrew and I want to show you how to grow
your own healthy and tasty, fruits and vegetables the
easy way and save thousands at the same time.
Aquaponics
is the combination of Aqua-culture,
(raising aquatic animals such as fish), and Hydro-ponics,
(growing plants without soil).
Fish waste
is recycled into nitrates which feeds the plants and the
plants clean the water for the fish. When the plants are
well watered and well fed using this method, they will
often grow twice as fast as those grown in soil. And because
we're not using soil, the roots don't need to dig very
deep to find water and plants can be grown close together
using much less space.
Formal scientific
interest in the combining of aquaculture and hydroponics
started in the mid-1970s with numerous research papers
being published. Since then aquaponics systems and techniques
have been streamlined and perfected to the point that
anyone can use aquaponics at home to grow their own vegetables,
fruits and fish just by following our easy, do-it-yourself
aquaponics method.
Once
you set up your system and get the chemistry right for
your plants and fish, 95% of the work is automated. All
you have to do is plant more seedlings after a plant has
completed it's cycle. Can you imagine being able to go

I've
always wanted to grow a garden but the soil where
I live is very rocky and full of rodents. I have
a neighbor that grows a garden in planter boxes
but she had to put up a fence to keep the pests
out and with the way her garden looked I didn't
think it was worth the trouble. I've even tried growing tomatoes in those upside-down
planters but I didn't get but a few small tomatoes
from it. Your

confident that I can keep my fish alive"
I've
had fish before in an aquarium but could never
seem to keep them alive. I thought they would
be fine as long as I kept the water clean and
fed them. Now I realize it was because I didn't
test my water and keep the chemicals balanced.
